claim和proclaim的区别

proclaim有"宣布"之意，只能作动词，指官方事务中当局对大众所作的重要宣布。

claim的意思就是根据权利来声明的意思，比如根据权利索赔，根据权利认领之类。

这两个词一般可以互换，但是claim还有索赔的意思，可作名词。

He claimed that it was all a conspiracy against him.

他声称这一切都是一场针对他的阴谋。

He repeated his claim that the people of Trinidad and Tobago backed his action.

他再次声称，特立尼达和多巴哥的人民支持他的行动。
