David Bowie和Elton John谁更伟大
毫无疑问是David Bowie
先从俗的地方看，无论是滚石还是Q或NME，任何伟大歌手的排名Bowie都在Elton之上。而所有排出的伟大专辑，Bowie至少会有三张。
Elton很多时候都在唱流行或不停翻唱，而your song和光candle in the wind（无论梦露版还是戴安娜版）就足够红遍大江南北了，对了，还有迪斯尼的《狮子王》主题曲can u feel the love tonight（大概是吧，忘了怎么拼了），Bowie没有唱过这种歌。
反之，Bowie很多歌的曲调诡异，歌词也可用晦涩来形容。
他太容易随便降低身份（或许根本没有）附和大众....
且如果按知名度算的话，譬如Prince和Madonna，后者毫无疑问更有名，但从伟大的角度，作为音乐人，Prince更伟大，作为明星，Madonna更伟大。
但，无论作为音乐人还是明星，Bowie都比Elton伟大得多，其实我很不明白你会提把他们两个放在一起比，显然不是同一级别的.....在明星的意义上更是，什么中性、双性恋、同性恋、男人长发高跟鞋、华丽摇滚等等，都是Bowie在70年代就玩遍的。
模仿Bowie，受Bowie影响的音乐人或明星有多少？见过谁受Elton什么影响了么？拿最近烂大街的Lady Gaga来说吧，她做的很多东西都是Bowie玩剩下的，自己也明确表示是Bowie的Fans，Elton能做什么？和已大红大紫的Lady Gaga一起在格莱美上表演？
