回答：

a) On 表示“在...方面”depend on 就是“在…方面依赖于”。

b) 动词和什么介词搭配，变成名词后依旧用与这个动词搭配的介词，如 He insisted on doing sth. — his insistence on sth；search a house for a hidden weapon—make a search for a hidden weapon in a house

2. We will keep a record of your measurement for future use. 为什么要用measurement.

回答：

a) measurement 表示测量数据

b) your measurement用作介词of的宾语，理所当然用名词。

c) 翻译：我们留下你的测量数据以备将来之用。

3. with 后面加形容词? with happiness?

回答：

With 是介词，其宾语一定要用名词，当然是happiness。

4. the president's assassination.为什么是动宾关系assassination不是名词么

回答

动宾关系这种说法不准确，应该是逻辑动宾关系。Assassination派生于动词assassinate(暗杀)，assassinate the president 就是动宾关系，the president's assassination是属格，既总统的被暗杀，正好逻辑动宾关系。

5. the critics' hostile reception of the play主谓关系怎么看?

回答;

critics' hostile也是属格，如果用一个句子表示的话即为：critics is the hostile，critics是主体而 hostile 是客体，二者不是正好形成了逻辑上的主谓关系了嘛！

6. the table 's leg is broken.为什么错的

英语的属格有两种形式：

the wives of the baseball, 但是后面无需再加players，如果非加不可，只能说：the wives of the players of the baseball

9. my mother was interested in the long poems of MIlton's.哪错了

回答：

应该没错，这是个双重属格，即 of属格 + ‘s属格，表示：密尔顿所有诗歌中的长诗

10.将句子中名词的of属格变成双重属格.象it was one of my father's favourite expressions.还有one of 什么的..改的时候有没有规律的?

回答：

用双重属格时，被 of one’s 限定的名词前必须要有冠词、数词或不定代词，如：

冠词：a favourite expression of my father's (也可以变成one of my father's favourite expressions)
