mingle,commingle,intermingle都当混合讲有什么区别？

mingle: if 2 feelings,sounds,smells etc mingle, they mix together with each other.

commingle: to mix togher,or to make different things do this.

intermingle: to mix together or mix sth with sth else.

可以看一下前缀，mingle是词根，co-:together with,inter-:involving 2 or more different things. 三者有相同的地方，表达感情的时候我想这3个都能用，但是在“Many towns allow recyclable items to be commingled for collection in a single container.”这一句中，是其他两个词所不能代替的。intermingle更侧重于内在的糅合。
