l think is a fascinating story. Steve decided that he wanted to go to Reed College in Oregon which was an outstanding liberal arts college and he was accepted.

我觉得非常有趣。乔布斯决定了入读俄勒岗州的里德学院，这是一间很好的文科大学，他被录取了。

But his parents couldn't afford to send him there. The University found out very quickly that no one had paid the bills. But, Steve was so persuasive that he convinced the Dean to let him stay there at college and to take the classes, and live in the dormitory for free.

After a short time at Reed College, Steve Jobs returned to San Francisco where he began attending meetings of the Home brew Computer Club, a group for computer hobbyists.

At one meeting, his friend Steve Wozniak showed off the homemade computer he made. It had a typewriter keyboard instead of lights and switches, a television instead of a monitor, and a cheap $ 20 computer chip. Steve Jobs was a visionary. He did see, this was going to change the world.

Redse came from a troubled family, and Jobs shared with her his own pain about being put up for adoption."We were both wounded from our childhood, Redse recalled."He said to me that we were misfits, which is why we belonged together".

Standing on a bridge over the Seine one evening, they argued about the idea, more romantic than serious, of just staying in France, maybe settling down. Redse was eager, but Jobs didn’t want to.

She would later recall how painful it was to be in love with someone so self-centered. Caring deeply about someone who seemed incapable of caring was a kind of hell, she said.
