waving flag是他今年2月底发行的专辑《游吟诗人》中的一首歌，歌曲带有浓郁的非洲气息，表达了对这片充满战火 、贫穷和落后的土地不离不弃的热爱。在今年9月国际足联举行的世界杯主题曲征集中，克南将自己的歌曲寄给了国际足联，最终被国际足联所认可，成为了南非世界杯的主题歌。之后，克南已经联手西班牙歌手David Bisbal特别为世界杯重新制作一款混音版的《waving flag》用于宣传。
