创作背景

Rolf L?vland说这首曲子的灵感源于日本动画电影《暴风雨之夜》。日本动画电影《暴风雨之夜》：暴风雨之夜狼（卡普）与羊（梅）同在黑暗的木屋中避雨，他们看不见彼此，天亮后他们再约见时才知道对方不是自己的同类。

尽管如此，他们仍然成为了好朋友。但这是他们各自的种族无法接受的，族群里的人知道后，都想把他们变成间谍，否则他们就会被杀死。于是他们逃跑了，准备翻过雪山、逃向最和谐的地方——翡翠森林。

面对雪山上的严寒、饥饿和狼群的追捕，狼一直保护着羊；感动的是，梅想用自己的身体帮助卡普翻过雪山并把这视为幸福，然而卡普却把梅保护在自己挖的洞中。
